There are more than 200 unsaturated polyester resin plants with an annual output of less than 500 tons in China, and the total production accounts for more than 60% of the national total. However, some small factories have simple equipment, backward inspection and technical management, few varieties and poor quality. Five unsaturated polyester production lines have been introduced nationwide, and the production of meta-phenyl unsaturated polyester resin is extremely small and expensive. There are almost no other high-performance special resins. Epoxy resin production is small and expensive, which affects the use.
