FRP is composed of reinforcing fibers and a matrix, and is generally a reinforced plastic which is made of glass fiber reinforced unsaturated polyester, epoxy resin and phenolic resin as a matrix, and glass fiber or its product as a reinforcing material. The diameter of the fiber (or whisker) is very small, generally below 10 μm, the defect is small and small, and the strain at break is about 30 parts per thousand. It is a brittle material, which is easily damaged, broken and corroded. The matrix has much lower strength and modulus than the fiber, but it can withstand large strains, often has viscoelasticity and elastoplasticity, and is a ductile material. The main FRP materials commonly used in engineering structures are carbon fiber (CFRP), glass fiber (GFRP), and aramid fiber (AFRP). The material forms mainly include sheets (fiber cloth and board), bars (ribs and ropes). Materials and profiles (grid type, I-shaped type, honeycomb type, etc.).
