FRP is composed of reinforcing fibers and a matrix, and is generally a reinforced plastic which is made of glass fiber reinforced unsaturated polyester, epoxy resin and phenolic resin as a matrix, and glass fiber or its product as a reinforcing material. The diameter of the fiber (or whisker) is very small, generally below 10 μm, the defect is small and small, and the strain at break is about 30 parts per thousand.
