Fiberglass grating is a polyester sheet with many regularly distributed rectangular and square spaces made by molding technology, which has the mechanical characteristics of bi-directional isotropy. It can be widely used as a work platform, equipment platform, drilling platform, walkway, etc. in industries such as petroleum, chemical electronics, power, paper, printing and dyeing, electroplating, marine exploration, sewage treatment, etc. It is an ideal product in corrosive environments and also suitable for civil construction facilities.

The resin types selected for fiberglass grating can be divided into the following seven types:

1. Phenolic type

The oxygen index of phenolic fiberglass grating can reach around 80, and the standard color is coffee. Mainly used in low toxicity and high flame retardant situations where fire safety is extremely important.

2. Vinyl type

Vinyl fiberglass grating has an oxygen index of 28 or above, and standard colors are grass green, yellow, gray, or orange. Mainly used in environments with severe corrosion such as low acid and alkaline solvents. For fiberglass grating panels with an oxygen index of 35 or above, the standard color is dark gray or black. Mainly used in situations with high flame retardant requirements and excellent acid and alkali resistance.

3. Meta benzene type

The oxygen index of meta benzene fiberglass grating is 28 or above, and the standard colors are grass green, yellow, and gray. Mainly used in more economical, acid resistant, moderately alkali resistant, and solvent resistant VEFR types.

4. Benzene food grade

The oxygen index of meta benzene food grade fiberglass grating is 26, and the standard color is yellow. Mainly used in industries such as meat products and video processing factories.

5. Ortho benzene type

The oxygen index of the ortho benzene fiberglass grating board is 28 or above, and the standard colors are grass green, yellow, and gray. It can be used in general acid and alkali resistant environments. Fiberglass grating panels with an oxygen index below 28 have standard colors of green, yellow, and gray. It does not have flame retardant requirements.
