Unlike the molding and extrusion manufacturing processes of grille panels, fiberglass grille cover panels belong to the hand layup process, also commonly known as skin. This hand layup process is used to manufacture various fiberglass products, such as common fiberglass fans, fiberglass sculptures, fiberglass trash cans, fiberglass septic tanks, and so on. There are usually two methods for manufacturing fiberglass grating cover plates. The first method is to manufacture the cover plate on the surface of the grating plate before it is removed from the molding equipment. Another approach is to place the removed grille panel in another operating channel and manufacture the cover plate. Both have their strengths and weaknesses.
